Logistics & documentation considerations

Crude transactions hinge on the physical and documentary chain. Typical points we coordinate or review with counterparties:

  • Loading and discharge port procedures, berthing windows and nominated storage where applicable.
  • Commercial, technical and quality documentation consistent with the agreed Incoterm (FOB, CIF or CFR).
  • Independent inspection for quantity and quality, with sampling points agreed in the contract.
  • Crude assay references (TPI / crude-assay data) confirmed with the seller before contracting.
