FAQ
Refined products — common questions
Diesel and gasoil (EN590 / ULSD), Jet A-1, VLSFO/ULSFO marine fuels, gasoline (EN 228) and bitumen. Other grades can be reviewed case by case against a documented specification.
Specifications are part of the commercial review. Enquiries are matched against counterparties producing or holding material to the requested specification, confirmed in writing before any offer.
Independent inspection companies contracted as part of the transaction. Sampling typically takes place at loading and discharge, and the resulting certificate is shared with both counterparties.
Payment terms are agreed contract by contract depending on counterparty, jurisdiction and size — commonly through bank instruments coordinated between the parties' banks. Terms are confirmed during commercial review.
