Service overview
Quality disputes cost far more than inspection. CATOIL BV builds independent verification into the transactions it coordinates: sampling at loading and, where agreed, at discharge, analysis by independent inspection companies, and specification tables written into the contract before execution. Where quality questions arise, claims handling is supported with the same documentation.

- Sampling coordination — at loading and discharge, under chain-of-custody procedures used by the appointed inspection company.

- Specification verification — contractual specification tables checked against the certificate of quality.

Documentation & verification
- Specification table — each parameter, unit and method agreed in the SPA before execution.
- Certificate of Quality / Analysis — where inspection is agreed, issued by the independent inspector and shared with both parties.
- Quantity documents — ullage or meter figures, B/L quantities and outturn as applicable to the Incoterm.
- Document consistency — commercial, quality and transport documents referenced to the same cargo and dates.

Quality assurance — common questions
Independent inspection companies contracted as part of the transaction. The appointed inspector, sampling points and analysis scope are agreed in the contract before execution.
Typically at loading and at discharge, following the sampling procedures of the appointed inspection company, so both counterparties hold equivalent evidence.
The contractual specification table and the inspection certificates become the basis for resolution between the counterparties. We support the commercial process with the documentation from the transaction.
